From maple drizzled waffles to smokey-maple ribs\, maple craft beer to maple gelato\, discover the incredible depth of Canada’s most beloved natural product on the Muskoka Maple Trail. \nView the 2020 Participants HERE. \n\nPlease note: \nIn an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses\, we are disappointed to announce that the 5th Annual Muskoka Maple Festival (initially planned for Saturday April 25th\, 2020) is postponed until further notice. Your health and safety are of utmost importance to us\, and due to this\, we have no choice but to postpone. This is not a cancellation\, we will be back to host the Festival later this year! Please stay tuned to our page for further updates. We thank you for your support and understanding. \nThe Muskoka Maple Trail will carry on at each business’ discretion.  Please call ahead to ensure each property remains open before visiting.

Amber McNair\, Youth Services Librarian\, will be offering bi-weekly Virtual Crafty Kids using Zoom. If you would like to be added to the email list to receive bi-weekly meeting details\, please email Amber McNair.  \n\nHow to Participate\n\nFind out the bi-weekly craft activity\nCollect supplies around your home\nDownload the Zoom app\nSign in with the Zoom Meeting ID or link\, along with a password\, that has been emailed to the participant’s parent/caregiver by Amber\nDuring the program\, work on your craft project alongside other kids in the Zoom meeting\, and see the creations of others while in Gallery View\n\n\nProgram Details\nWednesday\, April 15 at 3:00 to 3:30 PM \nPaint/Draw a Sunrise \nHousehold supplies to gather in advance:  \n\npaper\npaints\, paint brushes\, bucket of water\nor use crayons\, pencil crayons or markers\nif using paint\, cover your table at home and wear clothes that can get messy!\n\n\nWednesday\, April 29 at 3:00 to 3:30 PM  \nDecorate a Container and Plant Seeds  \nHousehold supplies to gather in advance: \n\nsome type of container such as an egg carton\, terracotta plant pot\, yogurt container\ndepending on the container\, use markers\, crayons\, or paint to decorate\npotting soil or any soil you can find\nseeds\nif using paint\, cover your table at home and wear clothes that can get messy!\n\n\nWednesday\, May 13 at 3:00 to 3:30 PM \nMarble Run Design & Build! \nHousehold supplies to gather in advance: \n\nrecycled materials including paper towel rolls\, toilet paper rolls\, boxes\nmasking tape or any other tape\na marble or small ball to test your marble run\n\n\nUpdate regarding Zoom\nIn order to follow Zoom security recommendations\, we will be implementing selective meeting invitations\, a required password and the waiting room feature. \nA parent/caregiver will receive a bi-weekly email from Amber McNair with meeting details. The email will contain the Zoom Meeting ID and link\, along with a required meeting password.
