From Blues and Old English Folk music influences to Moroccan and Middle Eastern beats and melodies\, ACOUSTIC ZEPPELIN is a musical journey around the acoustic world of Zeppelin. \nFeaturing the mandolin\, 12 string acoustic guitar\, violin and fiddle along with layered 6 string acoustic guitars\, and foot stomping backbeats\, the show presents the Zeppelin songs as they were performed on record and on stage. These instruments are also used to retexture some of Zeppelin’s classic “electric” songs\, shape shifting them into the acoustic realm. Two vocalists sing in tandem to deliver this diverse range of material\, also bringing to life the recorded harmony vocal performances that were rarely recreated on stage. \nThe music is executed by Sean Cotton on acoustic guitar\, foot percussion\, and lead vocals; Tamica Herod on lead vocals and hand percussion; George Axon on 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars\, electric guitar\, and mandolin; Wayne Ferguson on fiddle and mandolin; Mike Phillips on bass guitar.

DESCRIPTION:Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Hockey\nThe Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni featuring Wendel Clark\, Rick Vaive\, Al Iafrate\, and a host of other ex-Leaf greats\, come to the Canada Summit Centre in Huntsville on Saturday October 22\, 2022. They’ll be playing a select group of local players in a charity game\, with proceeds being directed to support ongoing efforts to establish a year-round\, outdoor sports pad (ice surface\, basketball court) in Huntsville. \nThe Rotary Club of Huntsville is working with Platinum Event Sponsor Tulloch Engineering to create an evening of entertainment and fun for all ages. \nPlease note that to help with parking\, there will be a shuttle bus running from Bullock’s Independent Grocer to the Canada Summit Centre Saturday night. The bus will start at 6pm and loop between the two areas until 7:30pm. DESCRIPTION:The 2022 Ontario Provincial Disc Golf Championship will take place in Muskoka\, ON.\nOur “A Pool” competitors (MA2/FA2 and above) will compete on the new Championship “Wolf Tracks” course at Bondi Village Resort designed by Kevin Farley of Fluent Disc Sports and is the only championship-level disc golf course in Muskoka. Our B Pool competitors will compete on an extended tournament layout at Limberlost Forest DGC. \nSpectators are welcome but requested to follow the signage for spectators closely so as not to interfere with play.
