The Ontario 55+ Winter Games\, first held in Collingwood in 2000\, are hosted in February or March in odd-numbered years. Approximately 1\,000 participants attend the Winter Games. \n\nThe Town of Huntsville is proud to once again welcome the Ontario 55+ Winter Games to our community from March 5-7\, 2019! \nJoin us to see 986 participants take part in 10 sports across Muskoka! Participants in Maple Weekend can be found across the province in a number of maple syrup producing areas. \nMaple weekend gives you a first-hand opportunity to see how maple products are produced\, from tree to table\, along with the chance to taste and purchase quality maple products. \n\nActivities \nJoin the fun at a local sugar house. Sugar makers are inviting you to share in the centuries-old craft of maple sugaring. Come and talk to the producers in your local area. They will be happy to share with you how their operation works. \nMany will be offering free samples of fresh syrup\, as well as maple candies and confections. Come enjoy pancake breakfasts\, sugarbush trails\, sugar making demonstrations\, taffy on snow\, horse-drawn sleigh rides\, and more. DESCRIPTION:The Huntsville Skating Club is hosting their annual year end Carnival on Sunday April 7th\, 2019 from 1:00pm-3:00pm. \nThe Huntsville Skating Club skaters will be putting on a very entertaining show\, displaying the skills that they have been working on all year\, with music from Carnivals from over the 60 Years. We will also be having Canadian Pairs Figure Skaters Trennt Michaud and Evelyn Walsh as our special guest skaters.  \nTickets are $10.00 each and will be available for sale beginning March 28th from the club and at the door.

DESCRIPTION:Mr. Broadbent\, a developer and builder\, has created “THE HOUSE OF THE FUTURE”.  He has filled it with gadgets such as self lighting fire places\, a self cleaning bathroom\, central trash disposal units\, automatic closets\, hidden telephones\, and his masterpiece “The Personal Ion Chamber”. The house\, however\, has remained unsold for four years.  He has\, at last\, found prospective buyers Fred and Gladys McNicoll\, and invites them to stay in the house.  With its many twists and turns\, Never Kiss a Naughty Nanny is a classic farce\, that is sure to bring a smile to audience members’ faces. ​\n\nWRITTEN BY: MICHAEL PARKER\nDIRECTED BY: DAN VANDERVEER \n(This play was written by the author of Sex Please We’re Sixty\, which was performed to much acclaim by the Huntsville Theatre Company during their 2017-2018 season.)
