From street theatre\, to music\, to sculpture\, to film\, and interactive exhibits\, there is something for everyone\, and many ways to join in the fun.  Come explore\, discover\, debate\, create and participate.  No experience necessary\, just a desire to stay up late and play! \nNuit Blanche North is presented in partnership by the Huntsville Festival of the Arts and Edge of the Woods Theatre.  The goal of the event is to present fun\, engaging and accessible works of art\, and to support the local economy by bringing visitors downtown\, and providing opportunities for local artists to create and present their work.

In the early 1900’s this ensemble was created by industrialist C.O. Shaw and led by esteemed cornetist Herbert L. Clarke. Comprised of workers from the local Huntsville tannery mill\, the band was featured at the CNE for ten years and was described as one of the ‘finest industrial plant bands in the country.’
