On Friday, April 26th, The Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary will be holding a fashion show to raise money to buy two defibrillators for the Huntsville hospital. The show, entitled “Adventures in Fashion”, will be held at the Algonquin Theatre starting at 7:00 p.m. They will be showing spring/summer fashions provided by local stores and modeled by local women, men and children. There will also be a silent auction and entertainment by musician Gina Horswood.
Defibrillators are the only effective treatment for lethal abnormal heart rhythm (fibrillation). These machines save lives by sending an electric shock through the heart to return it to normal rhythm if a person goes into cardiac arrest.
You can help save a life by attending “Adventures in Fashion”. Tickets are $25 and are available at the Algonquin Theatre. Net proceeds will go toward buying two of these life-saving machines.
