For one night only, the streets will come alive with an exciting program of free contemporary artistic activities, events and exhibits taking place in unconventional places in and around Huntsville’s downtown core!

Nuit Blanche North is a free late-night art event where cutting-edge artists light up downtown Huntsville with radical art exhibits and eccentric performances.

Inspired by the Nuit Blanche event started in Paris France in 2002, we invite visitors to stay up late and experience truly unique works of art in public spaces.  The fun begins at sunset and continues into the wee hours of the morning.  Visitors can wander through the streets of Huntsville to discover surprising works of art in unexpected places. From street theatre, to music, to sculpture, to film, and interactive exhibits, there is something for everyone, and many ways to join in the fun.  Come explore, discover, debate, create and participate.  No experience necessary, just a desire to stay up late and play!

Nuit Blanche North is presented in partnership by the Huntsville Festival of the Arts and Edge of the Woods Theatre.  The goal of the event is to present fun, engaging and accessible works of art, and to support the local economy by bringing visitors downtown, and providing opportunities for local artists to create and present their work.
