Conductor Neil Barlow and the Muskoka Concert Band are joined by esteemed soloists and musicians to recreate the music of the Anglo-Canadian Leather Company Band. In the early 1900’s this ensemble was created by industrialist C.O. Shaw and led by esteemed cornetist Herbert L. Clarke. Comprised of workers from the local Huntsville tannery mill, the band was featured at the CNE for ten years and was described as one of the ‘finest industrial plant bands in the country.’
