Welcome to Muskoka Heritage Place – home to the Muskoka Museum, Pioneer Village and Portage Flyer Train. Officially opened in 1971, the Village depicts the rural life of Muskokans around the turn of the 20th century.

Bend some steel with the blacksmith, taste some of Mrs. Maw’s fresh baked scones, meet the farm animals, and much more!

The Muskoka Museum is open year-round.

The Pioneer Village and Portage Flyer Train open May long weekend until Thanksgiving weekend. For opening times and train schedules, be sure to check out our website.
