The Magua Taekwon-Do School is a world-class Taekwon-Do education centre.

Taekwon-Do is the Korean martial art of self defense.

We offer the full spectrum of traditional Taekwon-Do training, from the beauty and power to the practical and effective. Our lifestyle approach to martial arts training encompasses the moral culture and philosophy that works hand-in-hand with the physical aspects.

We follow the principle of Constant Improvement, so we nurture a culture of positivity, hard work and personal growth. Our training methods forge discipline, toughness and character. Magua Taekwon-Do is where you come to be your best.

Initially founded in 2001 by brothers Norman and Denis Magua in South Africa, Magua Taekwon-Do came into being. Denis moved to Canada in 2016 and opened the first Canadian branch of Magua Taekwon-Do in Toronto. Seeking a lifestyle change and pursuing more meaningful goals, Denis moved to Huntsville and opened a new, exclusive training centre in April 2022.

We bring a traditional approach to modern Taekwon-Do training. In a world where Taekwon-Do has become associated with a children’s playtime activity, we promote and teach original, authentic Taekwon-Do with present-day methods.

We offer age-appropriate classed from six to adults.

Grandview Golf Club – The Mark O’Meara Course

Co-designed by PGA Tour veteran Mark O’Meara (1998 Masters and British Open champion) and renowned course architect Brit Stenson, the Mark O’Meara Course at Grandview opened in 2001. The course is aptly named as it exudes grandness from the moment you arrive.

Greens feature subtle breaks that one does not easily master. Large elevation changes throughout give spectacular views of Fairy Lake. Deciduous forest, granite and marshland are a few other key characteristics. Visit in the fall to witness the spectacular showing of the trees—a living reminder of what once inspired the Group of Seven to document this region’s beauty on their canvases.

Site of the 2002 Telus Skins Game won by Sergio Garcia over Vijay Singh, John Daly and Mike Weir, Grandview also offers a nine-hole Academy course just across the road.

Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area and the Muskoka Ski Club has been providing winter fun for local families and visitors alike for generations. Back Of Beyond Equine Centre

In the winter, discover the beauty of Muskoka in a unique way. Visit Back of Beyond Equine Centre and experience a daytime or evening horse drawn sleigh ride, through our own woodland trails (private for your group only), in the tradition of the original Muskoka settlers.
